How to Start a Blog Site with Ease?

Register a Domain

• Domain name should be relevant to the content of your blog
• If you can select a keyword as the domain name then it will be good as it helps in better listing in Google which intern will give lot of Organic Traffic

Purchase a Web Hosting Plan

Now we need a server to put in the files that we are going to create.  So for that we have to purchase a web hosting plan.  It’s always better to go for a cheap web hosting plan which can be changed later if required.

After purchasing you will receive an email with all the details about your server.  You will find a link like http://example.com/cpanel along with a password that’s the one which is required for accessing your server.

Creating a Blog Site

Login to your server and look for Software/Services

Click on Fantastico, select WordPress (WordPress is one of the best CMS which is used for creating blogs) and click on New Installation

Now fill in the information’s as I have done in the sample below and then click on Install WordPress

That’s all your blog is now created and is ready to use.
Now log in to your account using your Admin ID and Password (URL: http://example.com/wp-admin) and make the changes that you need.  WordPress dashboard is very user friendly so you can easily modify and add data to your site with ease.

Select a Theme for your Blog

There are lots of themes available for WordPress sites, so you can select a theme which suits your site.  You can go for a paid one if want a professional design.
